BOGGART[/b] His grandmother, Gwenyth, getting mad at him and brandishing her finger at him threateningly. Gwenyth dislikes James because he is the child of her son and the muggle woman he married. (She [Gwen] is a follower of the Dark Lord and believes pure bloods are superior to everything else)

OVERALL PERSONALITY[/b] James has always been energetic and outgoing. He can't stand being bored and he despises awkward silences - so don't be worried if he blurts out something ridiculous at the oddest times. He enjoys being active and having his heart race, which is why you will usually see him doing some sort of sport or just running around the grounds.

He is also very friendly and he loves to know people. As a child he would stand up on tables and introduce himself so a whole room would know who he was, but now that he's older he's learned it's better to go up to people and just say hi. He also ruins less tables this way.

His negative personality traits include him jumping to conclusions before he gets to know all the facts, being recklessly impulsive, wearing his heart on his sleeve (which is both positive and negative), and bottling up his anger so he ends up letting it all out on one person who could've just accidently stepped on his heel.

OVERALL HISTORY[/b] Harvey Mackenzie comes from a long line of pureblood wizards and witches who value the fact that they are completely pure. When Harvey was younger he was set to be married to a pure blood witch by the name of Miranda Vorsee to keep the blood line going. It was all set, but then Diana Roy stepped into the picture. Harvey met the young muggle woman at a market in downtown London and she set is heart aflame after only ten minutes of conversation. The two were meant for each other, and Harvey immediately broke of the wedding with Miranda. Five months later he watched as his beautiful bride Diana walked down the aisle towards him and they said their happy 'I do's. Of course, none of Harvey's family even went to the wedding of the man who ruined their family reputation.

When Harvey married his muggle wife he decided he wouldn't follow the rest of his family and be loyal to the Dark Lord, instead he and his family became supporters of the Order of the Pheonix side.

A few years after getting married the Mackenzie's decided they wanted a family - and they got it when baby James Avery was born. He grew up in a quiant little neighbourhood in Croydon and went to muggle school for the first part of his life. When he turned eleven he was accepted into Hogwarts and he was ecstatic - it had been what he was waiting for. James loved that he was a wizard, something most kids believed only happened in storybooks. He didn't want to disappoint his parents so he tried his hardest in his A at Hogwarts, and he did well in most classes - although the Dark Arts class was never his forte.[/blockquote]
